Aurora Lichtwerke GmbH participates in the Umwelt + Klimapakt Bayern (Bavarian Environment and Climate Pact) with qualified voluntary environmental services. The company’s own CHP unit achieves a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 1,100 tonnes per year.
On 1 October 2020, the new Environment and Climate Pact 2020 was signed by the top representatives of the Bavarian state government and the Bavarian economy. With the further development of their tried-and-tested environmental partnership, which was initially established back in 1995, the partners want to provide new impetus in climate protection, develop solutions for dealing with other prominent environmental and sustainability issues and thus advance environmental and climate protection in companies and businesses.
